Podcast 155: No One eez Allowed to Zee Ze Forge

This time 'round we get the second part of the Enterprise season 4 Augment arc and the first part of the Vulcan civil war arc, resulting in a bit of a split podcast personality. Also, a bit of Disney talk. I forgot to mention that a big reason for my aversion to Mary Poppins is that a friend of mine made fun of me for liking it because it's a "kid's movie." This was in the third grade.

Podcast breakdown:
0:00 -- nuqneH (Civil War and other movies (like Sing Street))
22:20 -- "Cold Station 12"
30:09 -- "The Augments"

Podcast 154: Hail Satanis!

No mention of March Madness this time around. We actually forgot that we forgot to host that tournament this year. In other news, before we finally get into the beginning of Enterprise season 4, we tackle lots of Batman and Superman talk (which is soooo last month by now). Hey also big thanks to all the wonderful girls who joined for the chat.

Podcast 153: Maybe Don't Let Me In After All

Scary frights that started across the sea and then Americanized into things we can safely and daintily digest. It's time for our American remakes of foreign horror movies podcast! Spooky scary! We should have talked about the tunnel sequence in The Vanishing more. Also, we probably should have mentioned The Netherlands more than we mentioned "Amsterdam." Prepare for weirdness and contention! As a bonus, Angela and Susanna joined us to disagree about things!

Podcast breakdown:

0:00 -- nuqneH
5:06 -- The Vanishing (and The Vanishing)
33:59 -- The Uninvited (and A Tale of Two Sisters)
1.04:27 -- Let Me In (and Let the Right One In)
1.36:03 -- Awards and rankings
2.13:09 -- Theoretical next movie podcast predictions
2.21:35 -- Qapla' and outtakes

Here's a link to The Canon Podcast that discusses Let the Right One In vs. Let Me In!

There is probably something else I meant to link to. Please let me know what that is.

Podcast 152: Auf Xindisehen!

First 'cast of 2016 and we start with an ending (finally)! Season 3 and its silly Xindi arc are completed so we commemorate not only with awards and rankings for the last four eps but awards and rankings for the whole season (as per tradition). Big bonus for just how drastically we disagree on this season's rankings. Also, gotta give a hand to J.R. for picking nudity as both his favorite podcast outfit and season outfit.

The other super big bonus is finally narrowing down the six (!) movies we'll indulge in for the next podcast movie special. Here's to fear in at least four languages.

Podcast breakdown:

0:00 -- nuqneH, snow days, Christmas, video games, Comedy Bang Bang, Hulu, all the TV, Europe, Tim)
16:17 -- "E with a little '2' next to it"
41:50 -- "The Council"
53:37 -- "Countdown"
1.02:30 -- "Zero Hour"
1.19:09 -- Podcast awards and rankings
1.25:42 -- Season awards and rankings
1.49:31 -- Next episode predictions (with a quick X-Files tangent)
1.59:10 -- Movie podcast planning
2.09:50 -- Qapla' and outtakes

Remember to watch the movies for the next podcast (The Vanishing (Spoorloos), The Vanishing (US), A Tale of Two Sisters, The Uninvited, Let the Right One In, Let Me In)
