Thank goodness "Bloodlines" "won." The disc containing "Journey's End" has already been sent back to Netflix and it would be very very difficult to convince J.R. to get the disc back much less watch it again.

Help us out Marina

So here's the photo of Marina Sirtis I found in my used copy of the Star Trek The Next Generation Technical Manual. Is this for real? Anybody out there know how to sniff out a forgery? It does look plenty "neat."

forgotten texts during the podcast 60 episodes.

So, J.R. often texts me while he's watching episodes. Sometimes I forget to bring the texts up on the show. The following slew of texts came to me while I'm assuming he was watching "Eye of the Beholder":

06/18/2010 02:23:00 am -- Depression is the villain?
02:45:00 am -- Troi WILL kiss anybody!
03:04:00 am -- Where has O'brien gone?
03:11:00 am -- I am calling it now. Troi is Klingon preggars.
03:13:00 am -- Ok maybe not.

Podcast 60: Radioactive Prometheus of Tomorrow

Come to think of it, Head on the Door is easily The Cure's best album. Personally, I'm not too fond of Disintegration actually. Too reliant on synths. The live shows really suffer for it too. It's not like the band does an incredible job being captivating with guitars. Synthesizers are even harder to maintain a good stage presence. Oh wait, are we supposed to be talking about Star Trek?

gametime

This is a video I got from my brother. He doesn't listen to the podcast, but it is quite fitting for this weekend.

The words quoted in this commercial are from Thomas Paine’s “The Crisis,” a pamphlet he published during our darkest hour in the war against Britain. A few weeks later Washington crossed the Delaware and scored our first major victory.

USA! . . USA! . . .

I (Jon) may be in my Ustream chat for the first hour of the game before I go to work. Please feel free to join in. Redcoats also welcome!
